We launched this project a couple years back with a plan to revolutionize social media. We have a vision, you could say, of a creative forum where all of you can share your insight, intelligence and creativity with the world. That foresight, we assure you, has not been lost.

But since Rafter’s conception the social media pool has become extremely diluted, its landscape littered with hundreds of middling sites begging for your name, your interests and your e-mail address. This onslaught of social media-ocrity has caused us to take a step back, regroup, and carefully revise our plan for Rafter Jump On. In an effort to make sure all of you aren’t just dumping your creative genius into a black hole somewhere in cyberspace, we are delaying the site’s official launch date to better build a home for our Rafter Correspondents and their work.

So, please excuse our dust and our delay, as we are in the process of re-thinking our place in the social media universe. In due time, Rafters, in due time.
